I was pretty sick over New Year’s, and it made me think about how without HEALTH, we have nothing. Just like a plant, or a healthy habit, we need to cultivate our mental and physical health a little bit at a time to watch our health grow and flourish. Consistency is important as well as not giving up—everyone will have challenges, it’s just figuring out how to best overcome them.  One of my hopes for this year includes reading more from different types of fiction and nonfiction. Unfortunately, I don’t have a lot of time to sit down and read, so I may try to listen to audiobooks on my commute! I want to be more patient with my family. I also would like to try some different exercise classes, and perhaps go back to pick up my music journey that I left in high school.
